Church Planting

Part of the vision of Columbia Crossroads is the planting of new churches. As you take a look at our church plants you will notice that there are three categories in which we define our plants-Satellite, Partner, and Sponsor. 

Satellite Church Plants 
A Satellite plant shares the vision and values of Crossroads, although the styles may vary among the congregations.  We give the bulk of our resources (time/money/people/leadership) to these plants.  The Teaching Team for Crossroads rotates among the campuses.  Satellite plants remain under the authority of the Columbia Crossroads Elders until they have their own leadership team in place. 

 

Partner Church Plants 
Partner plants reflect the heart of the vision and values of Crossroads.  Some of the ways we help our partner plants include: coaching, financial support, and people for the launch team. Partner churches are relationally connected but are not under the authority of the Columbia Crossroads Elders.

Sponsored Church Plants 
Sponsor plants are churches that we have great relationships with and are our dear friends.  They are churches that we have supported in a variety of ways (typically financial and coaching).  We spend much more time with our Sponsor churches than with the plants that simply attend our Renovation Centers.
